• developing campaigns to educate Queensland consumers and businesses about their rights and responsibilities for a heap of different legislation including Liqour Licensing, Fair Trading, buying and selling real estate, introduction agents, product safety and loads more.

I figured there had to be more to life than working for other people and not having enough days off for holidays, to play with my niece, to go out for lunch, to cook, to read, and to do all the other stuff I love to do. After a bit of soul searching, a few alcohol fuelled discussions with my partner and various friends, and the correct alignment of the moon and the stars, Mel Kettle Consulting was open for business!   

In case you are wondering, I have a Bachelor of Arts (Tourism Management) and a Master of Business (Marketing) and I am a member of: 

• Australian Marketing Institute
• Australian Institute of Management
• South East Brisbane Chamber of Commerce

My other passions in life are travel, photography, anything and everything to do with food (shopping, cooking and especially eating – but not cleaning up after), reading, listening to music, and (of course) my gorgeous partner Shaun.
